Muscle Response Testing (MRT)
Muscle Testing (MRT) or Kinesiology is now used on almost every animal seen at Sycamore Animal Hospital. MRT can be used for diagnosing "allergies" for NAET, presenting statements to the animal to get yes or no answers from them, or letting the animal tell us the best form of treatment for them if they know what it is by asking certain questions. The tester's muscle will go weak when the animal is either "allergic" to a tested substance or when there is a "no" answer to a specific question/statement. The tester's muscle will stay strong if the animal is not "allergic" or when there is a "yes" answer.
Based on the muscles reaction to a question posed, or the presentation of a possible allergen, we are better able to treat the animal!
